Servicing at Grips

At Grips we carry out servicing and maintenance to a high standard working on bikes as if they were our own. We carry out a variety of jobs that will allow the smooth running of your cycle and offroad motorcycle.

We are able to carry out work on most cycles and offroad motocycles. Repairs are carried out using genuine or pattern parts where necessary. Below is a list of prices you can expect to be charged when bringing your cycle or offroad motorcycle to us.

CYCLES

  • Full Service: Total strip down to the bare frame. Parts are then degreased in our degreasing machine. We then grease and rebuild the cycle. The frame is then wiped over. Cost £35.

  • Checkover Service: All parts on the cycle are checked and adjusted accordingly. The cycle is oiled where necessary and completely wiped over. Cost £25.

  • Wheel Straightened: From £6.50.

  • Gear Alignment: Front derailer £6.50. Rear derailer £6.50.

  • Punctures: Complete bike brought in £8.00. Wheel brought in only £6.50.

  • Brake Alignment: Front £6.50. Rear £6.50.

  • Suspension fork servicing and rear shock units including linkages can be serviced in house. However where units require special tools we may have to send away. From £25.

 

MOTORCYCLES

  • Engine rebuilds top end from £100 (without parts).

  • Servicing from £50.

  • Suspension tuning + setup from £50.

  • Engine Tuning from £50.

  • Barrel Repairs available - phone for price.

All other repair work carried out is priced on the time taken to repair. Due to the nature of mechanical work quotes are not given over the phone and prices may increase as work is carried out. All prices do not include parts and are correct at the time of print. All prices include VAT.
